NEED TO KNOW ASPECTS OF
THE IBC YEAR 10 PROGRAM

3 /  SECURITY

Tlalim works closely with Israel’s ‘Situation Room’ for all its programs and receives constant updates from the relevant security agencies. This includes receiving their authorisation for each day of the trip and adhering to their guidelines as well as making any necessary changes to cater for developments in the security situation.
Participants on the program will have Madrichim who stay with the group 24 hours a day for the entirety of the trip and are responsible for the personal security of participants as well as their safety and welfare.
In addition, it is a requirement for each participant to carry a mobile phone with them which they are available to answer at all times.

4 /  SAFETY

It is a requirement that each participant has valid travel and health insurance that covers them throughout their time in Israel. This will be provided by Tlalim and included in the cost of the program.
Each site that participants visit has been carefully vetted by the program management. This includes providing a valid business license along with liability insurance before any reservations are carried out. All accommodations must also provide security as required by Israeli law.
The safety and security of participants is our number one priority and is the first factor taken into account when making decisions regarding the program.
